FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
Hunters Helping Kids, Inc.
The founder of the Northern New York Chapter of Hunters Helping Kids lost a true friend on 12 January 2012 when Richard “Dick” Worden, at the young age of 73 years old, passed away while on a swan youth hunt in North Carolina.
Born on 20 December 1938, Dick wore many hats during his life but nothing more rewarding than that of husband to Marlene of 53 years, a father to 5 children, grandpa to 16 children and great-grandpa to 10 children. In Dick’s later years, he established a chapter of Hunters Helping Kids in upstate New York and was instrumental in the promotion of the organization in the northern United States. He was also a long-time national board member for Hunters Helping Kids National.
Mr. Worden’s family kindly requests that donations be made to Hunters Helping Kids 9721 co rt 79 Woodville,NY 13650 in an effort to sponsor a swan hunt in memory of Dick.
